Birthday Boy

On July 7th, Jason turned the big 3-0! We took the day off work (I was, uh, sick) and saw The Incredible Hulk and went to lunch. We celebrated with his family the following Sunday. We went to the Timbermine for dinner and then we went to see the progress on Candice and Jared's beautiful new house. After that we came back to our house for cake (German Chocolate cake courtesy of Jason's grandma and aunt Robin) and ice cream. It was fun to have everyone come to our house for a change. That doesn't happen, well, ever :) I hope they'll come again sometime.

The most recent snapshot of Jason and me.
I thought it turned out pretty cute.

This is Candice (Jason's sister) and her youngest, Cedric, who just turned two. We celebrated his birthday too!

Kaiser

Our Miniature Schnauzer, Kaiser, joined our family last August. He was the cutest little puppy! He's pretty mellow which is quite a switch from Ollie. But he has his moments when he's a little mischievous. He's our "little honey."

Ollie

The first addition to our family was our Springer Spaniel, Ollie (Oliver). It's hard to believe he was ever this small. Ollie is a bit of a pain at times- he was born on 06/06/06 so I guess that should have been a sign :) Anyone who has met Ollie knows what I'm talking about. He's beyond paranoid. He thinks everyone and everything is out to get him. I could go on and on about all of the things he's scared of but I won't. Despite the fact that he drives us crazy sometimes, we love him dearly. As hard as it may be to believe he's super sweet and very smart and obedient - except for when strangers are around :)

Florida - April 2008

This was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. What a blessing it was to have everyone together for an entire week. There wasn't a single moment that I didn't enjoy myself. I guess it's true that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but I would still prefer to have everyone closer together. I so miss my family. It was hard to have to say goodbye to everyone but I'm so glad we got to spend this time together.

We rented a 7 bedroom house in Kissimmee (sp?) Florida which had a game room in the garage and a pool (not in the garage). We had so much fun. It was awesome to have our own pool. The kids were in and out of the pool pretty much all day everyday. So fun...

The nieces and nephews. What cuties :)

We had a good time collecting seashells at the beach - the name of which escapes me at the moment. It may have been Siesta Beach. At any rate, not all of the shells were unoccupied. We discovered this when a few of the shells got up and walked away.

Jason and me and a lovely sunset.

My parents, sisters and me at the beach. L to R Lisa, LeeAnn, dad, mom, yours truly, Libbey. Please pardon my hairdo. Humidity, ocean, sand - any and all attempts for spiky hair were futile.

All new

I'm just trying to figure this out. Bear with me. Here's a picture of Jason and me, in case you forgot who we are :)
