I know
I know I'm awful about keeping up on this. And once again I don't have any new pictures to post. Sorry mom. But since you get to see me everyday now (lucky you) you don't need pictures, right? Well, maybe someday I'll have new pictures. Until next time...

28
I turned 28 today. It was a good birthday, pretty low key. Jason gave me a dvd (Juno). The highlight was going to my parent's house for dinner. My mom made roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, and yorkshire pudding. My favorite :) I don't have to go to work tomorrow so it makes today even better. I usually have a bit of anxiety on Sundays, knowing I have to go to work the next day but not today! This isn't the most exciting post, I know, but I felt like I should put something on here since once again, it's been awhile. I don't have any pictures to commemorate the day so I guess whoever may read this is stuck with just this. It's for the best, I'm wearing a black t-shirt today :)

Yep, it's been awhile
I realize that it's been over a month since I last posted anything. What can I say? I'm a lazy blogger. I don't have much to report. I've just been busy with work and life. My girlfriends and I had a girl's night last night, which is always fun. We went to dinner and then back to Karissa's for dessert. She made a super tasty cake. I'm glad that some people I know cook and bake so that I get to experience homemade food once in awhile :) I forgot to bring my camera so unfortunately I don't have any pictures to post of my lovely friends and I. I didn't wear a black shirt and Carrie can confirm - she took a couple of pictures. Well, that is all I have to say for now... until next time.

Black and only black
I own clothing in a variety of colors but in looking at my posts it would seem as though I only have pictures taken when I'm wearing black. This is a very strange phenomenon. I will certainly try to make it a point to wear something other than a black t-shirt the next time I'm in a situation where photography is involved.
Mom and Dad
My dear parents. My dad gave us all a scare when he ended up in the hospital with a blockage in his heart. He ended up with two stents in his right coronary artery. Luckily there wasn't any damage to his heart but it was all still pretty scary. Thank goodness things turned out okay. I don't know what I would do without my dad or my mom for that matter. I'm pretty attached to them :) But really, I'm so ever so grateful for them both.
Sisters
Grandma J is 80!
My Grandma J celebrated her 80th birthday this month! We had a family reunion and my grandma's birthday party on August 9th. My sister was able to fly in from Georgia and I was lucky enough to have a couple of days off work so we spent a long weekend in Nephi with the family. It was so good to have us all together - but we missed Tod and the Taylor girls.

Birthday Boy
On July 7th, Jason turned the big 3-0! We took the day off work (I was, uh, sick) and saw The Incredible Hulk and went to lunch. We celebrated with his family the following Sunday. We went to the Timbermine for dinner and then we went to see the progress on Candice and Jared's beautiful new house. After that we came back to our house for cake (German Chocolate cake courtesy of Jason's grandma and aunt Robin) and ice cream. It was fun to have everyone come to our house for a change. That doesn't happen, well, ever :) I hope they'll come again sometime.
The most recent snapshot of Jason and me.
I thought it turned out pretty cute.
This is Candice (Jason's sister) and her youngest, Cedric, who just turned two. We celebrated his birthday too!

Kaiser
Ollie
The first addition to our family was our Springer Spaniel, Ollie (Oliver). It's hard to believe he was ever this small. Ollie is a bit of a pain at times- he was born on 06/06/06 so I guess that should have been a sign :) Anyone who has met Ollie knows what I'm talking about. He's beyond paranoid. He thinks everyone and everything is out to get him. I could go on and on about all of the things he's scared of but I won't. Despite the fact that he drives us crazy sometimes, we love him dearly. As hard as it may be to believe he's super sweet and very smart and obedient - except for when strangers are around :)

Florida - April 2008
This was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. What a blessing it was to have everyone together for an entire week. There wasn't a single moment that I didn't enjoy myself. I guess it's true that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but I would still prefer to have everyone closer together. I so miss my family. It was hard to have to say goodbye to everyone but I'm so glad we got to spend this time together.
We rented a 7 bedroom house in Kissimmee (sp?) Florida which had a game room in the garage and a pool (not in the garage). We had so much fun. It was awesome to have our own pool. The kids were in and out of the pool pretty much all day everyday. So fun...
The nieces and nephews. What cuties :)
We had a good time collecting seashells at the beach - the name of which escapes me at the moment. It may have been Siesta Beach. At any rate, not all of the shells were unoccupied. We discovered this when a few of the shells got up and walked away.
Jason and me and a lovely sunset.
My parents, sisters and me at the beach. L to R Lisa, LeeAnn, dad, mom, yours truly, Libbey. Please pardon my hairdo. Humidity, ocean, sand - any and all attempts for spiky hair were futile.
